“TripShock Traveler Stories” Program Finds Success with Families

TripShock Traveler Stories is the latest customer rewards program to hit the southeast travel scene. Customers who book tours, attractions, and activities using Tripshock.com and leave a 4 or 5 star review will be given the chance to tell their own personal story on the website. Whether its a mother of 3 that had an unforgettable time on a deep sea fishing excursion in Destin, or a couple that danced the night away on a jazz-filled river cruise in New Orleans, if a customer enjoyed their experience, TripShock wants to tell the world!

The best part? A successful submission lands each customer a $20 TripShock activity credit good for up to a year! That means more vacation funds for parasailing, theme parks, boat rentals, and more!

Story Behind the “Stories”

The idea for TripShock Traveler Stories was conceived in an attempt to continuously generate meaningful content for Tripshock.com without the payroll that comes with a team of writers. Content Manager Mike Fisher was quoted as saying “We have a relatively small content team, so when met with the task of generating hundreds of pages of new content for the benefits of SEO, Traveler Stories was the perfect solution. Add in the $20 payout for all successful submissions, and you’ve got a win-win scenario between customers and TripShock.”

These Stories Are Strictly Non-Fiction

Although the program may have been created out of a plea for increased visibility in search engines, the amount of high quality submissions coming in since the program launched on July 19th have surprised everyone on the TripShock content team.

Compelling accounts of excursions ranging from New Orleans helicopter rides to Panama City Beach pirate cruises poured in, leaving no detail aside. And the highest percentage of submissions come from… you guessed it… families! “TripShock is committed to family-friendly experiences, and now we are so excited to be able to offer our families a more complete travel planning experience,” Fisher announced at a recent staff meeting, “Traveler Stories will work in conjunction with photos, videos, reviews, blogs, and local reservation experts to paint a crystal clear picture of our products!”

What’s Next for the Stories Program?

Currently in its early stages, the program is focused on information gathering and storing. The new content will premier with the highly anticipated Tripshock.com website remodel set to launch in late 2018.
